NAHMMA Policy Work
NAHMMA works carefully to make sure our membership is represented when policy issues come up that affect our various industries and we stay actively engaged in external policy issues related to NAHMMA's mission statement. Committee members work on such projects such as Consumer Labeling Initiative, Mercury containing products, and extended producer responsibility.
The Committee encourages all NAHMMA members to become familiar with these issues and NAHMMA’s position on them, and then to advocate for changes through your own organization. Please contact Policy Chair Jim Quinn if you would like to get involved with the Policy Committee and help strategize on next steps, have an item to share, or need more information about a particular issue.
The Policy Committee meets the 4th Wednesday of each month, from 9 - 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.
