The Northwest Chapter is NAHMMA’s first and most active chapter with 95 current members from the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. NAHMMA is an established group of hazardous materials management professionals whose purpose is to advance education, foster communication, encourage policy development, recognize exemplary programs and provide professional development opportunities. We are dedicated to pollution prevention and reducing the toxicity of municipal waste streams.

McMenamins Edgefield Manor, located at the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge 20 miles from downtown Portland, is a 38-acre estate featuring lodging, restaurants, winery, brewery, distillery, golf course, movie theater, and gardens. Choose from 114 rooms, each unique in décor and style but all comfortable and inviting. Shared baths are located in each wing (some rooms have in-room bath). Room rates range from $50-$133 plus tax per night.
