The California Product Stewardship Council (CPSC) is a powerful network of local governments, non-government organizations, businesses, and other individuals who care about the quality of the products you use in your every day life. CPSC believes that people should be able to enjoy greener, safer products made without the harmful and toxic components which jeopardize the safety and health of our children, families, and communities.
Earth911, Inc. gathers, distributes, and analyzes localized recycling information to assist manufacturers, organizations and consumers with product end-of-life solutions. Working to increase the recycling and disposal of consumer goods since 1991, Earth911’s services enhance and support companies’ responsible waste initiatives. The Earth911 Recycling Directory is the largest and most accurate in the nation, with more than 1 million ways to recycle more than 300 types of materials.
The International Society of Sustainability Professionals(ISSP) is a non-profit, member-driven association for professionals who are committed to making sustainability standard practice. Members share resources and best practices, and develop themselves professionally. Special reports, salary surveys, and the upcoming competency study are just a sampling of the rich content offered members.
The Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM), a not-for-profit organization founded in 1984, has been protecting the environment and the public’s health, safety, and security through the administration of credentials recognizing professionals who have demonstrated a high level of knowledge, expertise, and excellence in the management of hazardous materials.
The Pesticide Stewardship Alliance(TPSA), founded in 2000, is an organization of federal, state and local governmental agencies, educational and research institutions, public organizations, private corporations and individuals that are actively involved in different aspects of pesticide stewardship.
The Product Stewardship Institute (PSI) is a national non-profit membership-based organization located in Boston, Massachusetts. PSI works with state and local government agencies to partner with manufacturers, retailers, environmental groups, federal agencies, and other key stakeholders to reduce the health and environmental impacts of consumer products.
